In DC my mother and father stayed close, as two weeks of a broken ankle passed, with praises to my sister, my neices and nephews all who filled my heart. Soon I came to San Francisco, my home, the amazing Ariel and connected with Jonathan at the Bike Power Festival in Golden Gate Park. Then it happened. The day to fly to Minneapolis. I was to be picked up by Mike and driven with the fantastic Kate Pearl to the Cornstalk
Festival in Dennell Minnesota.

But something magical happen. The National Poetry Slam was in full effect in St. Paul. I did not remember this. But my phone rang in Dunn Bros Coffee and it was MJ and Kealoha inviting me to drink Kava at their Hilton Hotel Room. Soon I was there, soon the entire crew I was driving to Cornstalk with arrived. We drank in eye seeing ceremony. Then more poets came, poets from New Mexico, from Cali from….But it was their hearts. It was sharing space with Lee, with John Sands, with Anis Mojgani, and the wonderful Hawaii Slam team, Tui Scanlan the myth was their with hugs and words of encrouagement. Ken Arkind even says he will bring his poems and band here to Constalk, here in this cornfield, on this amazing, this place where I walked around the medicine wheel, and praised the four directions and the line came to me
I am completion thats never quite done.
and that is in my heart all day. Buzzing free in water with beautiful dogs and people. Gracey the baby, Asia the child, Adolfo and Phrostie who will play music with me towmorrow as i launch into my re-write of the Fool Truth, tell stories to children, and host this beautiful, home-made stage for the next 2 days. oh love i miss u! celebrate.
