danCing shakespeare into an urban garden

it is dance week in san francisco that means free dance classes n shows. Last night was Tango at Zambaleta with Ariel. we got home on the 22 bus after a short session with Devin and another ArieLa n i wrote:

we made a story across the floor.

trying a stitch, churning times rhythmic pulse

our brows cross, divisive shore lines met in the wet pulse,

stacking, stomps, claps,

aisles of couples tip toe,

able agile’ers are high,

ample amblers fall,

myriad laugher forgets a step and doubles

doubt into a, “question!”

this weekend was Hayes Valley Farm, an amazing urban farm in SF that once was a freeway and now learning growth, fava beans, yes! The main volunteer time Sundays 12.30 – 4.30 .

Ariel and Ariel at Hayes Valley Farm

today i read The Poetry of Shakespeare’s Plays in Four Barrel Coffee playing with Henry the Springer Spaniel who belongs to Kate. Shakespeare inspires

Give me a gash, put me to present pain,

Lest this great sea of joys rushing upon me

O’erbear the shores of my morality,

And drown me with their sweetness.

Shakespeare, Pericles

today is the FULL MOON. Bless it up!
